Body of National Hero Cde Matemadanda Departs for Gokwe

The body of National Hero Ambassador Victor Matemadanda has departed for Gokwe Centre, where a brief ceremony will be held as part of the official funeral programme.

Following the ceremony, the late national hero’s body will be airlifted to his family home in Sanyati, where it will lie in state ahead of a provincial send-off ceremony scheduled for Thursday.

Ambassador Matemadanda will be laid to rest at the National Heroes Acre on Friday, with President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa expected to preside over the burial.
