Free medical consultations and essential medication are becoming part of Hon. Kudakwashe Mupamhanga’s thank-you rallies, bringing healthcare services directly to communities in Mount Darwin South.

The initiative is providing residents attending the outreach events with access to doctors and medication at no cost, helping ease the financial burden associated with seeking medical attention.

The latest outreach was held on Sunday at Nyajenje Primary School, where free medical services ran alongside community engagement activities and the Bhuru Dzvuku Tournament, a sporting initiative aimed at engaging young people.

By combining healthcare services with sports and community interaction, the rallies are extending beyond political gatherings to include activities addressing some of the immediate needs of residents.

The medical outreach forms part of Mupamhanga’s ongoing tour of Mount Darwin South’s 23 political districts, during which he is thanking constituents who voted for him in the 2023 harmonised elections.

As the tour continues, the provision of free medical consultations and medication is placing healthcare access among the key community services featured at the gatherings, while the sporting activities provide young people with an opportunity to participate in organised recreation.

The initiative also highlights the importance of taking essential services closer to communities, particularly for residents who may face financial or logistical challenges in accessing healthcare facilities.

With the thank-you rallies continuing across the constituency, the outreach programme brings together political engagement, healthcare provision and youth activities under one community-focused initiative.
